Each tournament has its own payouts and prizes. With the additional grand slam prize, total prize money is over $3500.00 dollars in cash. Lots of giveaways and family activities throughout the series. The Grand Slam prize will be awarded at the conclusion of the 24hr Catfish Tournament.

Anglers need to register for each of these tournaments before March 17^th, 2012, to be eligible for the grand prize. You can register here and get complete tournament rules for each event or you can call Town of Weldon at (252) 536-4836 to register. Online registration is available with PayPal.

Rules: Enter each tournament during the 2012 Tournament Series. This includes the Shad Shoot Out, Rock the Roanoke Rockfish Tournament, and the 24Hr Catfish Challenge. During these tournaments, fish caught that meet each tournament weigh-in rules will be eligible to count towards overall totals. If you do not catch an eligible fish during their respected tournaments, you will receive zero weight for that particular tournament. The tournament will be on a weighted scale to determine the overall weight. Shad will account for 50% of the overall weight, rockfish 35% and catfish 15%. The total weight will not reflect the actual overall weight but a percentage weight.

Each angler will be required to be enrolled either on a team or individual in each tournament. This contest allows for anglers who are dedicated to fishing the opportunity to win without having to win each tournament. If an angler is found to have violated any of the tournament rules, you will be non-eligible for prize money and subject to sanctions of future tournaments. Anglers, who sign up for the Grand Slam, are eligible for discounted tournament entry fees and a Grand Slam Tournament Long Sleeve Tee-Shirt, separate from other tournament tees. You must sign up for the Grand Slam on or before the end of the Shad Shoot Out Tournament. There is no cost to sign up, just enroll into all three tournaments.
