TOURNAMENT TEAM: The team total cannot exceed the maximum occupancy limit of the registered team’s boat. Any change in team members must be reported to officials before boat check-in. This is a safety issue and accountability for everyone on the water. For people fishing from the shore, please use caution around the shore and watch for rising or swift water while fishing from the bank. It will be the responsibility of each individual fisherman to ensure your safety throughout the tournament for weather and water conditions.

All team members are required to comply with all LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL GAME AND FISHING REGULATIONS. Regulations state the creel limit is two (2) fish per person, the minimum size is 18 inches and no fish between 22 and 27 inches may be retained. Each team has two tags for the two fish you want to weight, these are zip ties and once the fish is tagged, it will be weighted. If you remove or damage the tag before weight in, that tag is voided. Suggestion from tournament officials is that you tag your fish right before you bring them for weigh-in. Fish that appears to be altered in any form; either biologically or artificially will be disqualified. Fish presented for official weigh-in are subject to internal and external examination by tournament officials and North Carolina Wildlife Officers. Any team who displays poor sportsmanship, violates tournament rules, or violates fish and game laws and receives a citation during the tournament will be disqualified.
