Administrative business, such as bill payments, inquires, and applications, etc. are conducted at the Town Hall in Weldon from 9:00a.m to 5:00p.m. Monday – Friday.

Phone calls will be accepted until 5:00p.m. on those days for your convenience and payments can still be made in the drop box located on the right hand side of the front door.

“Inside” Town of Weldon 1” or larger water tap on fee: $450.00 plus all additional cost associated with tap installation

“Outside” Town of Weldon (with Board approval) ¾” or 1” water tap on fee: $550.00

“Outside” Town of Weldon (with Board approval) 1” or larger water tap on fee: $550.00 plus all additional cost associated with tap installation

Minimum requirements for services: You must be 18 YRS. of age, pay the required service deposit, complete an application and provide a state issued photo ID and a copy of your current lease.

*Bills are payable at the Town Hall by the 15th of each month. If payment is not made by the 15th, a penalty of $5.00 will be added to your bill. If the bill remains unpaid after the 20th of the month, services will be interrupted and a fee of $ 25.00 will be attached to your bill. Failure to receive bill does not excuse customer from applicable penalties or cut-off fees. Return check fee is $20.00.

*N. B. – Meter will be reread upon request and a charge of $1.50 will apply if no error is found. Meter will be tested upon request and a charge of $5.00 will apply if no default is found. There will be no charge for reading or testing if it is determined that there was an error due to no fault of your own.

*Availability fees: These charges will apply to each bill regardless of consumption. Your actual consumption will be added to these flat rates in order to calculate your monthly bill. An explanation of rates is listed above and copies are available at the Town Hall.

Important Notice

At no time will you be permitted to turn your own water on or off. If it is determined that the service has been tampered with: there will be a charge of $100.00 attached to your bill, including but not limited to; all applicable penalties, and or, cut off fees; and will be payable upon receipt.
