Public Hearing for 2020-21 Budget on June 8, 2020

The Town of Weldon will be having a public hearing on its proposed budget on June 8, 2020 at 6pm. We request that all public comment be in writing and include the name and address of the person submitting the comment. All public comment should be received in the Town Clerk’s office by 12 noon on June 8, 2020. Public comment can be received in person at 109 Washington Avenue, Weldon NC 27890, by mail at PO Box 551, Weldon NC 27890, or by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. The Town is still under an Emergency Declaration and the meeting is closed to the public; however, the town will continue to stream via Facebook Live and all comments will be read aloud during the public hearing.

Appear before the board

It is the goal of the Town of Weldon Board of Commissioners to conduct effective meetings and to make informed decisions. Individuals requesting to appear before the Board of Commissioners must submit their request in writing to the Clerk to the Board no later than the Thursday before the meeting date by 5:00 p.m. This form must indicate the item of discussion along with pertinent materials to review.
